Apache: More Apache security - mod_require_host/2.2
Computer Cops recently published information about examples and tools to use in protecting your Apache server, just more stuff to protect your PHP-Nuke web sites.
One such tool that works on proactive error filtering and blocks/denies IP addresses if too many errors (configurable) are received is called "mod_require_host".
Snert.com has developed this module for Apache and can viewed here: mod_require_host/2.2. In addition, you can actively see the list of IP addresses that have errors and actually get blocked for visitors to snert.com here.

Apache: Apache 2.0.44 Released - Fixes Windows Bugs
The Apache HTTP Server Project is proud to announce the seventh public release of Apache 2.0.
This release begins a new effort to retain configuration and module-interface stability in the Apache 2.0 series. No changes in configuration or third-party modules are necessary to upgrade from 2.0.42 or later, and we will make every effort to maintain this easy upgrade path in future 2.0 releases.
