Ryan!

Thanks man! Removing that info resolved that most annoying problem. I greatly appreciate it!

Oh wow, there was a time when I could help people out of blue and look at me now, dumber than a cockroach.

Okay...here's my problem...if I log into my site & don't read all of the messages, they'll all be marked as read when I close the browser. Also...If my wife loggs into the site & reads messages, the next time I log in on the same computer, they'll be marked as read. Is there anyway for it to ONLY mark messages that have ACTUALLY been read...like e-mail?

It was showing unread until I refresh the page, just like described. But now that I did that it never shows unread. Confused

Any variation on the solution

Dear developers,

I have one big problem with posts marked as read.

I tryed all solutions posted in others posts in this forum and the solution posted in this topic and all solutions dont work for me.

Im using PHP-NUKE 7.3 + Patch 2.5 (NukeFixes) + bbtonuke 2.0.8.

This is a very bad bug because users maybe think that my forum is desert and this not is true.

I found some users with this problem too.

Please help all to fix this bug Wink

I've tried clearing the lines but it still doesn't work. Anyone have any new info for those of us still having this problem?

gravityarc, what are are you using? I haven't touched one version after 7.4 but have installed few for others.

I'll take a look at it.

Frmg, please post the link to your site.

Also, a notice to all:
This is not a fix, this is just a way around. I am not sure if this problem was fixed by the phpbb team or not.

Hi Mesum. I'm using 7.4 with phpBB 2.0.10. I've done some mods, but nothing major.

Thanks in advance.
