i agree with everything above to cach some of the bots....i have had quite a few humans try to spam my forums but with a few moderators deleting them rapidly they give up fast.

if you use cpanel log in and click MySql databases.
Scroll to the bottom and click phpmyadmin
from the pull down menu select the database you are adding the calender to

i tried joomla but my staff didnt find it as friendly to manage and seemed to do less of it. they found the admin panel almost over organised. i didnt mind it myself.

SMF is easier to keep secure ...

These are all really great sugestions. I would also suggest buisness cards, a poster on campus if your in school. Getting friends and faimly to help kick your forums off ...and hopefully invite others ...

Solution: The error level for the reporting is too high. Set display_errors to display all errors, except for notices in your php.ini. Edit php.ini with a decent ...
