Re: Annoying IE websites (Score: 1) by marcoledingue on Monday, April 26 @ 05:12:25 CEST (User Info | Send a Message) http://marcoledingue.free.fr | well, there is a very good reason why IE has 90% (95% ?) of the market !
==> 95% of computers are shipped with MS Windows, which is bundled with IE !
how many people will bother trying to find an alternate browser ?
How many people know that there are other browser than IE and Netscape (ok, and AOL)? not a lot i think!
i'm quite certain that IE's market share will last for a few years... at least.
by the way, Opera has the ability to "trick" websites : you can set the User-Agent to IE and different versions of Mozilla. (it's in the preferences) |
