How much do you think a nuke-based site would cost? Totally free? A dollar?
No! In Indonesia this can cost up US $235.000! Ha...ha... this might be the most expensive nuke site in the whole world. Here is the story:

There is a site belongs to the local government of West Sumatra - Indonesia, more precisely the local government of Mentawai Islands district, that cost almost US $235.000 (approximately Rp 2.000.000.000). The site is happen to be said nothing in the content or even in the appearence.

That local government site reside on http://www.mentawaionline.com. This address is also said has broken the Indonesia's government regulation on "Guidance on Running a Local Government's Site" released by the Ministry of Information and Communication of the Republic Indonesia. The rule is explicitly require that any local government's site should has a "go.id" format.

"The cost of constructing the site is up to US $235.000, most of it was expended on the database building, surveys to the whole Mentawai's places, and some of it was used for funding the promotion and the experts team," said the administrator of MentawaiOnline.com on an interview via email by detikcom (one of the largest Indonesia news portal).

The administrtor said that this project was a cooperation arrangement of some NGO called LPPM Bung Hatta and The Local Development and Planning Authority of Mentawai. So was the maintenance of the site.

He also said that the site was online on December 25, 2003. "The database is being completed until the maintenance time of two years are over."

If everyone check out that site, it turns out to be a PHP-Nuke Version 6.5, with not "a single" touch to make it a little bit different from the standard package.

Blah! So, do you think that PHP-Nuke is just a cheap regular CMS? Certainly it's not! (and surely it still the best).
