The road ahead for Gallery: "With the introduction of Gallery 2 we are presenting the future of our web based photo management product. Gallery 2 was designed to be a complete replacement for Gallery 1, rewritten from scratch to address weaknesses in the design and implementation of original product. By starting over we ensure that we have an architecture that is secure, scalable, reliable and modular. We opened up the way that we present the user interface so that we now have a much more flexible and customizable experience than we had in the past. As with Gallery 1, it is fully internationalized so that it can be translated into many languages.
