PHP-Nuke table prefix rename

Topic: Add Ons

A little addon to enhance the security of your PHP-Nuke portal.

With this little addon you can change without problems the prefix of your tables into your PHP-Nuke database. By doing this you can defeat almost all SQL injection around, as the attacker could not know the prefix used by your tables (in PHP-Nuke the standard prefix is "nuke")...

Surely this is not the prefect solution, but if used with other protections it would increase the security and prevent some attacks, in particular ones made by script-kiddie and automatic tools.

Usage is extremely simple, you have only to upload the script into the home of your nuke installation, then call the script with a browser and follow instructions on the screen.

I also suggest you to make a BACKUP of your database BEFORE using the script.

I have to thanks http://rus-phpnuke.com/ that wrote this script of which I have only made a restile and some modifications in the code to be usable with PHP-Nuke 7.6 and Apache2.
