Analyzer 1.89.4 Release - Security Check Addition
Date: Monday, February 17 @ 19:06:38 CET
Topic: Security

On top of the current functionality for Analyzer from Nuke Cops:

  • MySQL Server and Client API security check,
  • PHP security check,
  • PHP-Nuke installation help and troubleshooting guide,
  • Recursive directory line listing,
  • php.ini values,
  • MySQL server status

This release checks for the following additional items:

  • GD extension used by PHP-Nuke 6.5 RC1
  • $sitekey value security check used by PHP-Nuke 6.5 RC1

Analyzer will tell you if you support the GD extension, a new security check found in PHP-Nuke 6.5 Release Candidate 1. If your server doesn't have it, Analyzer will tell you and you can advise your hosting company to compile it.

In addition Analyzer checks for the $sitekey value and compares it to the default entry. If the comparison is true, then a warning is supplied advising you to change it. This is the only time the sitekey value is displayed.
