I'm having trouble uploading new templates into my themes dir. I've been using my Win. explorer but all of the files are not transfering.

Any ideas?

Can you explain please?
First of all, how can you copy files onto a server with Windows Explorer? I don't think it has FTP capabilities...
Unless you are running the server on your own computer. In that case there is no reason why the explorer shouldn't be copying all files.

I take it that by you asking me this I shouldn’t be able to do this.
What I would do is select the file that I want to copy that’s on my hard drive right click and select copy. Then I would scroll down to ‘My Network Places’ select my web site; enter my user name & password. Explorer displays all of the folders in my web site’s directory. I open the necessary folder right click and past.
8 out of 10 times it works. I would appreciate knowing the correct
way to do this.

Hm, wow, I never knew that you could use the network places enviroment for FTP transfer.
The way I do it (and most people I assume) is using a FTP program, such as WS-FTP. You can find a lite version on www.download.com (just type WS-FTP in the search field) or you can get a shareware version of WS FTP Pro. They'll both do the job though. Also there's other FTP programs of course.

Yea, but not that well. I'll get WS-FTP and try uploading templates that way.

Thanx!

I've found 'WS-FTP Pro' v 7.5 Maybe this Free download can be added with the other downloads or something.

All you have to do is submit it in the downloads section. I'm not sure if one can submit someone else's script/program, but you sure can try.
