I have updated bbtonuke from 2.0.15 to 2.0.22 step by step and once finished I have just realised that no new users can register.
When I click submit on the forums new user reg form i get:
Code:
Could not insert data into users table
DEBUG MODE
SQL Error : 1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '20, 2007, 'english', 1, 0, 1, 0, '77d89d')' at line 2
I have reverted back to the original usercp_register.php file from 2.0.15 and this fixes the problem, i can't see any other problems it kicks up and even the visual confirmation code works.
i run a high traffic site and was under a lot of pressure when this error kicked up so to have it working again is a godsend so i am not going to play about with it while its working
cheers

Shouldn't that Apr 20, 2007 be quoted? The way it is SQL receives 2 fields instead of one...

I see what you mean, thats the bit that its complaining about.
I compared the same bit (probabl the wrong bit) beteen the new and currently live (and working) file but could not see what the problem could be.
An ideas on how fix?
As per my previous post I am running an old file to get round the problem but I would like to have the latest running as theres probably been some bug fixes between now and then.
Cheers

Well... I'm not a code expert, but I did update bbtonuke a few times and never had problems...
Try again... You must update every 0.01 files...
