Hey,

Just installed a fresh copy of Nuke 8.0 and am trying to add images not only to the CONTENT pages, but the NEWS areas on the home page as well.

When I edit the NEWS or CONTENT areas it shows the image as I would like it placed, but then when I actually POST the NEWS etc it shows just the text I put in the news and does NOT show images.

For some reason it is disabling the use of images on my home page.

Anyone have a clue whats going on here?

Thanks ahead of time

Make sure the "img" tag is allowed in your config.php

Actually it should be 2 - to allow attributes such as
IMG SRC=

1 would only allow the tag itself
IMG

Verified guys...My Allowable HTML code has been updated as follows...

$AllowableHTML = array("b"=>1,"i"=>1,"strike"=>1,"img"=>2,"div"=>2,"u"=>1,"a"=>2,"em"=>1,"br"=>1,"strong"=>1,"blockquote"=>1,"tt"=>1,"li"=>1,"ol"=>1,"ul"=>1);

with the "img"=>2, slapped in there, and it works great so far.

Again thanks for the help.

Since were discussing it, why did the devs disable images in the config file with later packages anyway ?...security risk ?

Good thing I cought ya before you replied to my previous question, now I can sneek in yet a few more questions in regard to editing the config.php file to allow certain tags.

I am also having an issue using
Code:
target="_blank"

and

Code:
title="View Full Size Image"

tags.

What I am trying to achieve is to add an image to say the NEWS or MESSAGE or CONTENT areas that is small and upon mouseover display the tooltip "View Full Size Image" and finally, upon click open in NEW window with a larger version of the image. thus the use of the TARGET and TITLE tags.

But as I said, it is not allowing me to use em.

I tried adding "target"=>2, to my $AllowableHTML in my config.php file as follows

Code:
$AllowableHTML = array("b"=>1,"i"=>1,"strike"=>1,"img"=>2,"target"=>2,"div"=>2,"u"=>1,"a"=>2,"em"=>1,"br"=>1,"strong"=>1,"blockquote"=>1,"tt"=>1,"li"=>1,"ol"=>1,"ul"=>1);

And even tried both the 1 and 2 switches
Code:
"target"=>1,

Code:
"target"=>2,

with no luck.

Any ideas guys, I really would like the images to open in a new window similar to a thumbnail/full size feature.

Thanks again for your time brother.
