Absolutely. I like it a lot. It does deserve some testing though. Will people get tired of it after awhile? I am just thinking out loud here... Makes the transitions smoother but it gives the illusion of page changes being slow... hmm things to ponder. Anyway, I like it.

to be honest, i hate page transistions.

I prefer to click and the page to appear, not have to wait for the page to fade out then in again.

Well, that's why we're testing it. To see the response.

I generally like page transitions. There are a few drawbacks however. People with slower computers and or net connections may experience a great deal of aggravation when surfing enhanced sites. In some cases, a slower computer may even lock-up.

If anybody is interested, the following site gives you a good tutorial on page transitions : http://www.webthang.co.uk/tuts/tuts_css/css5/css5.asp

This tutorial only deals with "Page-Enter". If you get creative with your java script, you can also apply filters to images, or other elements. I'm not sure how NukeCops (#1) is set-up, but Internet Exploder has the most reliable page transition effects.

Maybe using the browser detection script would control whether or not to show the page transitions and/or being able to turn them on or off in the user option section.
