Since I cannot for some reason (it escapes me) post this HTML for a Javascript, and it works here http://impa-gscrb.org (Same 6.7 version).

I was wondering if anyone knew why each time I try to post news, edit messages on the home page with this script/html

<center>
<!-- Begin Code Amber Ticker code. -->
<P ALIGN=CENTER>
<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript1.2" src="http://www.codeamber.org/js/codea.js">
</script>
</P>
<!-- end of Code Amber Ticker code (c)Copyright codeamber.org 2002-->
</center>

my phpNUKE site bounces me back to the home page.

The site URL in question is:

http://nami-online.org

I cannot even get the preview without the module crashing back to the home page.

Hi'ya there are filters which don't like that code. If you want it in a block you'll need to create a block just for it. You can just copy/paste an existing block and modify the contents.
