They are kinda hard to find, you have to go into the themes forum to find them.

Mabye you should install a photo gallery, ladysilver, like coppermine or gallery. Then you could post the screen shots there.
Personaly I like coppermine.

Nah! the best way to see a theme its actually to load it on Nuke; ladysilver have a few demo accounts to change the themes there, but a demo module would be extreme cool! Wink

You can log into one of the demo accounts. Name and passwords are: guest/guest, guest1/guest1, demo/demo, and demo1/demo1. The new themes being released are without phpBB forum themes. I've been doing some custom work & work on a new documents module and have not had time to do forum graphics, though someone has offered to help with that so I plan to add on matching forums themes very soon.

Overall there will definitely be 22 themes, and possibly as as many as 35. I probably will add a gallery. I use 4NAlbum and Coppermine on other sites, just have not added one to ND yet.

I have a better solution: Preview Theme
Here the code:

open mainfile.php and replace function get_theme() with this:
Code:
function get_theme() {
    global $user, $nukeuser, $Default_Theme, $prevtheme;
    if (isset($prevtheme) && $tfile=@opendir("themes/$prevtheme")) {
        $ThemeSel = $prevtheme;
    } else if(is_user($user)) {
        if($nukeuser[9]=="") $nukeuser[9]=$Default_Theme;
        if(isset($theme)) $nukeuser[9]=$theme;
        if(!$tfile=@opendir("themes/$nukeuser[9]")) {
            $ThemeSel = $Default_Theme;
        } else {
            $ThemeSel = $nukeuser[9];
        }
    } else {
        $ThemeSel = $Default_Theme;
    }
    if ($ThemeSel == "") $ThemeSel = "cpgnuke";
    return $ThemeSel;
}

AND create block-Preview_theme.php
Code:
<?php
// ---------------------------------------------------------------------- //
// Preview theme block v1.1                                               //
// ---------------------------------------------------------------------- //
// Copyright (C) 2003  DJ Maze < http://www.cpgnuke.com >                 //

// (at your option) any later version.                                    //
// ---------------------------------------------------------------------- //
if (eregi("block-Preview_theme.php", $_SERVER['PHP_SELF'])) {
    Header("Location: index.php");
    die();
}

global $name, $op;

$qs = "?";
foreach($_GET as $var => $value) {
    if ($var != "prevtheme") {
        $qs .= $var."=".$value.= "&amp;";
    }
}
if (ereg("admin.php", $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'])) {
    $self = "admin.php";
} else if (ereg("modules.php", $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'])) {
    $self = "modules.php";
} else {
    $self = "index.php";
}

$ThemeSel = get_theme();

$content = '<center><form action="" method="get"><select name="themeprev" onChange="top.location.href=this.options[this.selectedIndex].value">';
$handle=opendir('themes');
$themelist = "";
while ($file = readdir($handle)) {
    if ( (!ereg("[.]",$file) AND file_exists("themes/$file/theme.php")) ) {
        $themelist[] = "$file";
    }
}
closedir($handle);
/*
sort($themelist);
*/
function cmp($a, $b) {
   return strcasecmp($a, $b);
}
usort($themelist, "cmp"); // 4 times but what the hack the sort is nice

for ($i=0; $i < sizeof($themelist); $i++) {
    if($themelist[$i]!="") {
       $content .= "<option value=\"{$self}{$qs}prevtheme=$themelist[$i]\"";
       if($themelist[$i]==$ThemeSel) $content .= " selected";
       $content .= ">$themelist[$i]";
       if ($tfile=@opendir("themes/$themelist[$i]/forums")) $content .= " *";
       $content .= "</option>\n";
    }
}
$content .= '</select><br>
This option will change the look of this page temporarly.<br>
The changes will be valid only to you.<br>
Each user can view the site with different theme.<br>
Themes marked with * also change forum look.</form></center>';
?>

djmaze, I like your solution. Very Happy I use 7.1 and the function get_theme() is coded differently, so I think I'll need to do a bit of tweaking so as not to alter the 7.1 function structure.

I noticed
Code:
if ($ThemeSel == "") $ThemeSel = "cpgnuke";

but didn't see a reference to "cpgnuke" anywhere else. Should that be

Code:
$ThemeSel = "prevtheme"?

Thanks again!

if ($ThemeSel == "") $ThemeSel = "cpgnuke";

is just a "default" theme if there's no theme found.
You just change it to a theme you have like

if ($ThemeSel == "") $ThemeSel = "DeepBlue";

You don't like posting the correct urls ?

That is one of those urls where i don't go cos i don't trust the content.
But if people still wanna try it, here's the real url

That must be a real Dutch treat to state the above.

Why it is done this way is that the root of my site changes at times for technical reasons laid down by the administor of the site for whatever purpose. (Mainly financial)
It needs then only changing 1 or 2 files to reconnect to the correct site.
