Hi all sorry to post & I dont know if anyone can help me but il ask anyway.
Running: PHPNUKE V7.9
Web Borwser: IE V7.0 (tried on Firefox V2.0.0.9)
I have Friendfinder running on my site & all runs fine except a few problems & any help would be much apprciated.
When someone registers with Friendfinder they have to enter a section 'About me' this section only allows 255 carrectors & I wanted to make this alot more (500 or something) yet no matter what I change, it makes no differance.

I have tried changing the Type & lengh in PHPmyadin yet still doenst make a differance? I still get the same error as before that I can only use 255 carrector?
I have also been into the code & this is what I have found (photos below), it comes up twice in the code yet I don't understand it enough to change it to work?
Ok so thats my first problem with it. (only in IE7)
Next is to do with the same section, after the user has registered & they have completed 'About me' they will want to go back in & change 'About me' now when the page is loading the 'About me' box is there yet once the page has stopped loading the box dispapears. Photos: (sorry about the txt in the boxes I just grabbed someones account)
I know I have gone on abit but I wanted to give you as much info as possbile. If anyone can help & needs access to anything or needs anymore info I will give whatever is needed so just let me know.
The problem with the Box disapearing only happens in IE7 not Firefox, yet thats as far as I coud get
There is probably some code to check the length of the text. I don't use FriendFinder, but you can check the PHP code until you find something that checks the 255 character length.
