Both are similar trains of thought that come to mind when I think of what you are saying.
I consider all code that is contributed, whether a bug fix, block, module, addon, etc, part of the code of the cms, and because it is a code contribution, I think it is the professional, mature OS project/responsible thing to do. that is just my 2 cents, not flaming you, just have a seperate opinion on this particular situation. ;) |
