 This hack was designed with users of the phpBB port in mind, Nuke's default profile manager only lists the avatars present in the gallery folder while many of us use more than one avatar gallery, now you can allow your site members to select avatars from any and all existing galleries or link to a remote avatar and they won't lose their avatar when they make any change in Nuke's default profile manager.
This is a modification of PHP-Nuke's original Your Account module that provides an alternative to the avatar issues present when saving changes in Nuke's profile, your current avatar is displayed along with a list of available avatar galleries. Selecting a new avatar is as easy as browsing through the galleries and clicking on the desired avatar or entering the url of a remote avatar. Uploaded avatars will still have to be entered through the forum's profile, currently if avatar uploading is enabled on your forums the control panel will switch the disabled message to a link to the forum's profile.

(User Info | Send a Message) | I have tried two different fixes and I must admit this is the better one :D
But there are a couple of things I would like to change:
1. The option behind "Upload Avatar from a URL:" is "Upload ThroughForum Profile". You CANNOT click submit for this option so the text should change into: "Enter the URL of the location containing the Avatar image, it will be copied to this site."
2. The size of the avatar has been set to 40x50, where the size of the avatar in the forum profile and in the top of Your Account is set according to the image size. (if you use 80x80, it wil show 80x80, but in this page it will keep on showing 40x50)
3. I would move the "Avatar control panel" section up (to wher it use to be), leave the text "Avatar control panel" and put the "Submit" button behind the option "Link to off-site Avatar" (so right from the URL)
I think these 3 changes will make it even a better solution and design wise a better page :D
I am new to phpNuke, so I do not know how to edit this, but may you can make the necessery adjustments and post it to this forum :D :D
