Yikes! Another Windows Security Vulnerability Again... |
|
xengoreth writes "Folks, make sure to patch your Windows boxes. Microsoft Security Bulletin MS04-007 details a buffer overrun in the ASN.1 library. It could allow a remote user to execute malicious code. This one has the potential to be as bad as the two buffer overruns discovered in the Windows RPC service last year and consequently allowed the propagation of the MS Blast worm. I highly recommend patching your machines."
