Re: milestones ahead: the first book about phpnuke gets hot of the press! (Score: 1) by MikeMiles on Friday, August 22 @ 10:45:09 CEST (User Info | Send a Message) | Jens is probably better known in the German community. He runs a promoting and consulting business to help people set up websites. He writes commercial modules for Nuke and runs a few sites himself:
http://www.nukeforums.de/
http://www.phpnuke24.com/
http://www.phpnuke.de/ (can't tell if this is his or a client's; the impressum leads to a 404)
http://www.2f-promoting.com/
http://www.netz-id.de
http://www.phpreferenz.de/
http://www.phpnuke-book.com/
If you look here ( http://www.phpnuke-book.com/ ), he's has written documentation for PHPNuke 5.0, PHPNuke 5.4, PHPNuke 5.5, and PHPNuke 6.5. All in German. This will be his third book. The other two are: Taschenbuch PHP Referenz (PHP Reference Paperback published in March 2002) and Das große Buch PHP5 und MySQL (to be released this year).
He's been with Nuke for awhile, and I would say well-qualified to write a book on Nuke. |
