Re: A Newbies First Story Using Nuke Doc's (Score: 1) by JG on Monday, August 25 @ 15:30:15 CEST (User Info | Send a Message) http://johngaltaisa.com | Perhaps I was a bit hard on programmers, and I was one back in the old days, as you had to be to accomplish anything.
Yes, then we had so many constrants with memory, it was really impractical to comment the code, and going back, you will find that many of those programmers, wrote great docs as well.
It seems to be the newer generation that's missing the boat, and I will give lack of english a kick here, because many of them are not english speaking as a first language. Wbb2 being a perfect example.
In any event, if you're a programmer, I have nothing but respect for what they are capable of, when it comes to creating and writing code, but if you want to sell the work, you have to remember why you wrote it in the first place, and give those that use it's application, enough information to use it successfully.
By the By, if that was you that popped over to my board 'D' thank you much, and I did reply. :) Log in next time, I promise not to byte. hehe
