Re: Jaguar PC's Shared Hosting not good for Nuke Sites? (Score: 1) by mattsiegman on Monday, October 06 @ 17:09:45 CEST (User Info | Send a Message) http://mattsiegman.com | Obviously, you have never had an account at Jaguar. Their support is top notch, and if there is a problem with the server your on, it is normally fixed within 24 hrs or less.
Users with scripts gone wild are a problem on all servers. You can't really blame the host, but you also can. Jaguar does an excellant job of keeping the problems with insane scripts down.
Jaguar listens to its customers, even if it is not convenient. When they moved fromDI and VDI to their own NOC, they asked users whether they would like a couple days of total, hard downtime, or a gradual transfer. The users picked a gradual transfer. This caused headaches for everybody, but its what the customers wanted.
Please do some research before you blindly accept testimony from somebody shooting their mouth off. My site there hasn't been down for nearly a year -- partially because I know what I'm doing and don't overload the server with complex scripts that could potentially break it, partially because the other users on my server don't run stupid scripts that break things, and partially because Jaguar rocks at keeping servers running.. |
