I believe the point was that if you were to know the site key and the random number (by passing it in manually) you could render the code usless because you can guess what the code is actually going to print.
try this link and see if you don't get the same code everytime. that is what he was talking about. I don't think you quite understand the article (that or we don't quite get your point).
