I've tried to get this table to install and it wont trying both ways "nukesql" or maually". Here is the manual script to see if anyone sees an error.

Quote:
$db->sql_query("CREATE TABLE ".$prefix."_board_message (
msg_id mediumint(Cool NOT NULL auto_increment,
title varchar(25) NOT NULL default '(empty)',
message text NOT NULL,
showpage smallint(5) NOT NULL default '0',
auth tinyint(2) NOT NULL default '5',
width smallint(3) NOT NULL default '75',
starttime int(11) NOT NULL default '0',
endtime int(11) NOT NULL default '0',
startdate int(11) NOT NULL default '0',
enddate int(11) NOT NULL default '0',
users_timezone tinyint(1) NOT NULL default '0',
bbcode_uid varchar(10) NOT NULL default '',
days varchar(7) NOT NULL default '0000000',
images varchar(100) default NULL,
ordr smallint(3) NOT NULL default '0',
PRIMARY KEY (msg_id) ");

$db->sql_query("INSERT INTO ".$prefix."_board_message (msg_id, title, message, showpage, auth, width, starttime, endtime, startdate, enddate, users_timezone, bbcode_uid, days, images, ordr) VALUES ('1', 'All Pages', 'This message will be shown on all pages. It can be view by all visitors. The width of the table = 80%. It also displays a gif file. Order 10', '9999', '0', '80', '946681200', '946681200', '988581600', '1293750000', '0', '', '1111111', '/images/default.gif', '10')");
$db->sql_query("INSERT INTO ".$prefix."_board_message (msg_id, title, message, showpage, auth, width, starttime, endtime, startdate, enddate, users_timezone, bbcode_uid, days, images, ordr) VALUES (3, 'Index Only', 'The message will be showed only on the index. Only for registered people. On all days. Order 20', 0, 1, 50, 946681200, 946681200, 1009839600, 1293750000, 0, '', '1111111', '', 20)");

After running it this is what I get from my server.

There seems to be an error in your SQL query. The MySQL server error output below, if there is any, may also help you in diagnosing the problem

#1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '$db->sql_query("CREATE TABLE ".$prefix."_board_message (
msg

My server is running version MySql version 4.0.18-standard
I have no idea how to change the code for that version if this is the problem. The worst thing is this is the table that makes my forums actually show up..lol

When you go inside from my portal to forums you get this message inside the body.

I would just run it as a straight sql query in say phpmyadmin. You would drop the sql_query and just in the text field in phpmyadmin do a CREATE_TABLE (

Followed by all the Insert statements.

View nuke.sql for some examples of how to structure it.

thanks simron. I went ahead and installed 7.0 and it seems to be working well in all areas ... but I dont like it as much as the hacked version of 6.5 ... I may start over and try your idea. Who knows..lol

That won't work.. .what you need is this:
Code:

CREATE TABLE nuke_board_message (
  msg_id mediumint(8) NOT NULL auto_increment,
  title varchar(25) NOT NULL default '(empty)',
  message text NOT NULL,
  showpage smallint(5) NOT NULL default '0',
  auth tinyint(2) NOT NULL default '5',
  width smallint(3) NOT NULL default '75',
  starttime int(11) NOT NULL default '0',
  endtime int(11) NOT NULL default '0',
  startdate int(11) NOT NULL default '0',
  enddate int(11) NOT NULL default '0',
  users_timezone tinyint(1) NOT NULL default '0',
  bbcode_uid varchar(10) NOT NULL default '',
  days varchar(7) NOT NULL default '0000000',
  images varchar(100) default NULL,
  ordr smallint(3) NOT NULL default '0',
  PRIMARY KEY  (msg_id) );

INSERT INTO nuke_board_message (msg_id, title, message, showpage, auth, width, starttime, endtime, startdate, enddate, users_timezone, bbcode_uid, days, images, ordr) VALUES (1, 'All Pages', 'This message will be shown on all pages. It can be view by all visitors. The width of the table = 80%. It als display a gif file. Order 10', 9999, 0, 80, 946681200, 946681200, 988581600, 1293750000, 0, '', '1111111', '/images/default.gif', 10),
(3, 'Ind   ex Only', 'The message will be showed only on the index. Only for registered people. On all days. Order 20', 0, 1, 50, 946681200, 946681200, 1009839600, 1293750000, 0, '', '1111111', '', 20);

Just run that through your phpMyAdmin Smile Worked like a charm for me. NC Bundle 6.5
