PM's staying in outbox

sometimes they get delivered, and sometimes they just sit in the out box. any ideas why? nuke 6.9 did it, and now i am at 7.0 and it still does it.

Pm's show up in your outbox until the person they are going to reads them.

Doh!

i thought that was what was going on, but i have old pm's in there from months ago, and i know people have logged on since then.

I also had trouble once when a member and i were pm'ing back and forth, and he sent a PM to me and i never got it, it just stuck in his outbox, and i had the same thing happen to me when i was trying to send to him

I have pm's in my inbox that are months old as well.

Perhaps the people you are sending them too, just haven't read them. Maybe they had every intention of reading it later, only later never came?
Maybe there was an issue with database.
