Hi,
I am facing a problem after installing Zend optimizer.When I click Member_List,it shows only the first member.After I logon to the site and click "Forums" it shows a timeout error in Forums\auth.php.

If I remove the Zend settings then everything is back to normal.Has anyone faced this problem?

The settings added by Zend to my php.ini are as follows:

[Zend]
zend_optimizer.optimization_level=15
zend_extension_ts="C:\Zend\lib\ZendExtensionManager.dll"
zend_extension_manager.optimizer_ts="C:\Zend\lib\Optimizer-2.5.0"

Thanks for any help...

Smile

Hi,
I got the answer:

zend_optimizer.optimization_level=0

The optimization level is to be set to Zero .

Very Happy

Hi bobbychat

I seem to be having similar problems after installing Zend - my post/problem

Just checking the Member List on my site at the moment to see if it has the same problem.... the Member List didn't come up so I'm guessing it's Zend.

I'll disable Zend (as soon as I work out how) and see how it goes.

Cheers
Tama

Ok, so it's a known bug, but is there a new package of phpBB for php-nuke that incorporates the fixes in 2.0.6d of phpBB?

I wanted to let people know what has worked for me about this zend and members list and forums issue.

If if you have issues with Members List showing all registered users as Your name (admin name) or as the 1st registered user's name repeatedly, and if your forums don't work....

this is an Zend Optimizer issue. Zend Optimizer 2.5 has a bug, and they have released 2.5.1 to fix it.

I have contacted my host and asked him to upgrade Zend Optimizer from 2.5 to 2.5.1 (crossing my fingers that they'll actually do it). To my surprise, 20 mins later the host emailed me back stating that he performed the upgrade. Lo and behold, my Memberes List now shows up correctly, my forums work fine and everything works great!!!

I also got this reply from my host after I said thank you to him:

"I'm happy that I could help. I'm also grateful to you for pointing to a solution. We had another client who had the same problem and we didn't know what was causing it. Take care."

so to solve the members list appearing as YOU problem ask your host to upgrade zend optimizer
