Last Visit Version 3.0
Last Visit is an administrative module for PHP-Nuke which enables advanced user management capabilities for website administrators. Last Visit allows ease of identification and termination of inactive (dead) members and provides valuable statistical information in an easy to use layout.
If you're familiar with the costs of bandwidth and webspace you may already see the true value of this module.
Every member of your site requires bandwidth and space. Every dead member is money out of your pocket in more than one way. The ability to identify and remove the dead memberships from your database makes this module one of your website's most powerful and valuable tools. How many other modules pay for themselves over and over again?
With that said, here is a list of some of the features that Last Visit Version 3.0 has ...

I installed as per instructions on a nuke6.5 site and get a "page not found" error when I clcik on the Last Visit admin icon and it tries to take me to "/admin.php?op=LastVisitAdmin".
I downloaded the zip from your site today so it should be the latest.
Any ideas?

Be sure the admin/case files were uploaded.
Try entering the module address into the browser address bar to be sure the module was installed correctly and is functioning (bypass the link).
Also, go to your Admin Preferences and be sure there is no /forward slash/ on the end of your Site URL.
I had someone test the module for me in Nuke 6.5 and it worked.
Let me know.

Case, link and module files were all uploaded from the archive.
There is no forward slash in my preferences/Site URL.
When I click the icon or type in the URL (mysite.com/admin.php?op=LastVisitAdmin) it thinks for a couple of seconds then gives the "page cannot be displayed" message. This is a first install on a site with approx. 4 thousand members.
All 6.5 patches/sec-fixes are applied to this site.

I'm not sure what the problem is at this point. It is difficult for me to determine where the error is created when I cannot duplicate it. I'm somewhat new to PHP and Nuke and have never worked with version 6.5. However, I have been able to resolve some compatibility issues with 6.5 just through experimentation. I will continue to work towards making this module compatible with more Nuke versions. I am also currently working on a way to limit the list number for sites like yours that have thousands of members ... this in itself may resolve some potential problems. I will keep trying to find an answer to your problem with the module.
If anyone else experiences the same problem (or another), let me know so I can fix it.

Was about to post that this didn't work with version 7 as it wasn't logging any of the user data even after being installed for 2 days. Installed the new version of it and it is now logging data for users, limit record option is a nice touch as it was taking ages to load 3000 members.
Another option that would be nice is the ability to alter the trigger levels so you don't have ot wait for 90days from dead users to be flagged. This would be really handy for when you first install it if you know you are carrying loads of dead accounts. Guess I could just alter them myself but I'm lazy.
Nice work!!

Thanks prophet! Your last update works fine on my Nuke6.5 site. Must have been the # of users?

Ronin,
Excellent! I am happy to hear that it's working for you now! I made a number of changes to the code that may help solve potential issues. The list limit was a much needed addition to the module.
Thanks for your helpful comments!

Macwedd, thanks for the comments!
Actually, you will begin to see results 30 days after installation. You can consider a member to be "dead" at 30 days if you want. I just figured it's reasonable to assume that after 90 days of inactivity chances are slim that a member will return.
Best regards!

Thanks Allevon, I appreciate your feedback!
I imagine there are many people (like me) that will be happy to reclaim some of that wasted database and disk space taken up by dead members. I believe this to be a valuable admin tool. I would like to make it usable for as many as possible.
Keep me posted on the Nuke version tests.

I guess you can't install this on v7.0 phpnuke?
I can't get pass the SQL query
Quote:
Error
SQL-query :
INSERT INTO `nuke_warn_mail`
VALUES ( 1, 'Hello [recipient name]: \r\nThis email is to inform you that your account at [sitename] may soon be terminated due to inactivity. To avoid account cancellation simply login to your account at [site url]\r\n\r\nWe value our members and hope that you will continue to be one.\r\n\r\nBest regards,\r\n [sitename] Staff\r\n', '[sitename] Account Cancellation Notice', '0' )
MySQL said:
#1136 - Column count doesn't match value count at row 1
I manually sql query'd the below that worked
---------
DROP TABLE IF EXISTS `nuke_warn_mail`;
CREATE TABLE `nuke_warn_mail` (
`wid` int(11) NOT NULL auto_increment,
`body` text NOT NULL,
`subject` varchar(255) NOT NULL default '',
`exp` char(1) NOT NULL default '0',
`sorta` char(10) NOT NULL default '0',
`sortb` char(10) NOT NULL default '100',
PRIMARY KEY (`wid`)
) TYPE=MyISAM AUTO_INCREMENT=2 ;
---------
When i enter this line manually is where the errors come from, but i dont know what / how / if it can be fixed.
--------
INSERT INTO `nuke_warn_mail` VALUES (1, 'Hello [recipient name]: \r\nThis email is to inform you that your account at [sitename] may soon be terminated due to inactivity. To avoid account cancellation simply login to your account at [site url]\r\n\r\nWe value our members and hope that you will continue to be one.\r\n\r\nBest regards,\r\n [sitename] Staff\r\n', '[sitename] Account Cancellation Notice', '0');
--------
So i skipped that step and finished the rest and in the admin area for last visit i get this
Quote:
User ID User IP Username Last Visit Page Hits Action
Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/evergame/public_html/includes/sql_layer.php on line 286
Page Stats

Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/evergame/public_html/includes/sql_layer.php on line 286
Total number of user hits:
Total number of users: 13351
If you can help get this working for my phpnuke 7.0 please post ^^ thx
