I got this wehn trying to make someone mod for a board

One of my admins had this problem before, but it just went away, now this is only happening with one member, when i try to update his permissions i get that above error. If someone could please help me I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanx but I am a bit confused still do I just do everything on that whole page? and that will fix my error? Is this a common error?
