Hi, i am a high school student and we have a dull website. I though that maybe we would be able to put phpnuke on it. But my qestion is do you think that it would have enough security on it, for maybe some kid that decides he is mad at the school and wants to try to ruin the website? i think it does but can you give me your thoughts...

Ok, firstly your website is what you need to be most concerned with, and the security of it.

Make sure that it is up to date, patched and have web security installed.

Also ensure that any modules you have installed (outside of the standard nuke modules are up to date).

Other than that you can keep your database secure with running the latest versions of MySQL and PHP.

All in all I would say it is unlikely that anyone at your school will gain access to your database or website if you take my advice, but obviously I can't gurantee it Wink

Its the risks we all take!

If you need some consultancy, or a security test then please contact us through or website below and we can discuss it further.

Regards
