Hey,

I just purchased and installed the gallery mod for PHP-NUKE, I have 7.9 working properly as far as I can tell. THe install for Gallery was pretty straight forward and all seemed to go well expect that I am unable to add a category. I click on add category and enter a name then click no add but it just brings me ot a blank while screen. NOthing was added. I tried re-adding the database entried a couple time, but still the same thing....I'll turn on debugin mode and take a look (just thought of it) and post the results....

Any insight?

E

ok so here is the error

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: filter() in /somefolder/somefolder/public_html/modules/Photo_Gallery/index.php on line 1881

Here is what that line looks like:

$catname = filter($catname, nohtml, 1);

do I need to set special permissions on index.php in the Phpto_Gallery folder?

Purchased it? Did you? I think that's a gnu/ gpl free.
Hm...
If they sold it to you, then you have a right to get their commercial support directly from them. I think your phpnuke 7.9 free version does not have security patch 2.3.1 that takes care of filter() function.

By the way, would you let me know who sold the gallery to you?

Well I got it from this site http://www.phpnuke.org/modules.php?name=Release it does say "purchase" on the page and so I used that terminoly for this post.

Thank's for the info, I guess since I purchased it I must now refrain from asking questions about it on a public forum. Razz

no, erwan. You don't have to shrink yourself.
You purchased phpnuke 7.9, not album.
You wrote just like "purchased and installed.." , that's ok.

That blank screen happens for some reasons. Did you install security patch 2.3.1? After patching it, try it again.

Hints: next time you may find a shared version of phpnuke 8.0, if you can find. Smile
