RESOLVED! Can't login as user?

I am unable to Log into one of my sites as a user.... this happened overnight.....

Last night I was logged in as user, this morning I was not

I tried to log in and it states Login Incorrect! Please Try Again...

I tried the Lost password and that did not work. I went into user manager and I set the password and that did not work.

I can log in as Admin and as God, but not as a user..... overnight ....It has been working fine till this morning. I have not added or changed anything since last night.

This happens in both IE and Firefox.

I don't know what proxy you are using, but I have not had that problem before Confused

..... the problem is not with other users, I have had others log in without any problem..... it is just me Shocked

My user name is not able to log on ..... as I said... I can log on as Admin or God, no problem.... but when I tried to log in as a user, that is when I have the problems. This literally happened over night! I can't figure it out Confused

....... I am ready to blow it up though Mad

Have you tried re joining and logging in, making sure you are logged out of admin?
If this only happened recently, have you altered your pc clock and date?
Check also php admin to see if your user name is still there
Try also requesting password for said user name see what happens

I had thought of all of the above already.... with no luck Crying or Very sad

I tried to rejoin and it tells me username is already taken
My username is still in the database and everything looks fine
My pc clock and date are correct
I tried the "lost password" and that did not work when I tried the new password.
I changed the password in "Advanced User Management" and that did not work

I am baffled Confused

Thanks jeff21up, for giving me that idea, I just got home and I am going to try to log in from another computer to see if that works.

No .... that didn't work either Crying or Very sad

I don't know what to do Confused

I thought of deleting my user name and then adding it back again, but that could raise other problems.....

My other concern is on how this could have happened over night.... and whether or not it could have been a malicious act by someone Confused

OK!! I found the problem!!

I rearranged the users by alphabetical order and found that my username was in there twice..... have no idea how that could have happened.....
I thought that it wasn't possible to have the same user name Shocked

When I changed the duplicate name, I was able to log in again Smile
