This seems to come up enough that I finally decided to post it so you can double check here.
For the problem relating to users not having valid registration links. You need to check your settings in the admin preferences and make sure you domain is correct. The registration email will use this domain to generate the proper registration link.
Example.
Your phpnuke is installed in/home/foomonkey/public_html but your domain is mysite.mydomain.com
Your domain in the phpnuke preferences needs to be mysite.mydomain.com
Your registration link should come out as mysite.mydomain.com/(registration gibbersh here) Anything else will be invalid as it will be unable to find the file that controls registration.
If you are having messages along the lines of users saying the get a php error when they click complete on the registration form and its relating to sending the email, you will need to verify that the email service is configured and running on your host. Usually having SMTP set up on your server is sufficent. Please check with your host to verify this.
