I want to add a banner below the actual newsupdate after people have clicked "Read More". I've seen it on several websites and I know what code to put but I don't know WHERE to put it.

Does anyone know? On one of the websites I saw it on, it looked like a block below the newsupdate.

Here is a website that has it: http://www.luchtzak.be/article11574.html

I mean the banner coming right after the newsupdate window.

The banner I want to add is 300x250 but that shouldn't really change the code much from a "normal" 468x60 banner.

Here's an other example, from phpnuke.org:

look for file:
modules/News/article.php

and then look for this:

Code:

..
echo "</td></tr></table>\n";
cookiedecode($user);

include("modules/$module_name/associates.php");

if (((empty($mode) OR ($mode != "nocomments")) OR ($acomm == 0)) OR ($articlecomm == 1)) {
    include("modules/News/comments.php");
}
include ("footer.php");

I think you should edit it before/after </table> or before include footer.php...

Thanks. That added it in the center, below the right side blocks, tho. I got some ideas while trying it out tho...

In theme.php

/************************************************************/
/* Function themeindex() */
/* */
/* This function format the stories on the story page, when */
/* you click on that "Read More..." link in the home */
/************************************************************/

^This may look different in different themes. I'm actually using a nukecops theme Wink.

So anyway before the LAST </table> in that function, i added the code. Looks like this:

."</td></tr></table><br><center><b>Advertisement:</b><br>BANNER CODE GO HERE</center>\n";
}
