Unable to add a download - please help me!

Hello! I am in hopes someone can please help. I added the Enhanced Download v2.1 module to my phpnuke 7.9 site. Everything seems fine EXCEPT I cannot add a download. I am attempting to add some pdf files to my site. I can add a category, then a subcatagory, but not the download. I have tried everything I can think of, with the sql/database, permissions, looked at files, etc and am totally worn out with it and at my wits end. I am not a total newbie but don't consider myself an intermediate either. I have scoured this forum and tried out all suggestions that have been given to others that have had this problem but to no avail. Can someone please assist with this? I'd be so grateful. Thanks in advance for any assist!

In nuke styles upload settings there should be in directory settings fileuploads and imageuploads.
and make sure the in modules downloads there are 2 folders there
fileuploads and imageuploads if not create them.

Thanks for your reply. I have the 2 folders and they are set to 777. Set upload settings, etc. Still no luck. I go to add the download and it gives me the screen "new download added" for a few seconds then it tells me no download added - and it hasn't added it either. Any other suggestions?

the 2 folders are in upload settings in nukestyles also right? and it will say no download added, thats just the way the prog is... also did you check the folder fileuploads to see if they up loaded? everything works for you including the upload , browse and submit..? you might find some help from the people who took over nukestyles also at http://dadanuke.org
I have it installed and it works perrfect.
