I know that I need to put my images into the images/topics folder and have done so. However I am not able to select any of the new images when I post a new topic in the news area. All I am able to choose is the phpnuke.gif image. I replaced it with another image renamed to phpnuke.gif and it worked.
Also, I looked around a bit but couldn't find if there was a certian file type it would recognize e.g. .gif files. Is it possible to use a .png for this area?

how are your image files named ? image.gif or image.jpg and yes png files will work.
did you named your images maby with a whitespace or special character like a - or & ?
For example My image.jpg or My image.gif or My image.png .
Ifso.. it is posseble not readable by nuke....i havent tested.

Uhh no there are no special characters, just good ol runon names. Tried a few things last night to no avail.

I got it to work, for some reason it did not like capitals and lowercase much. PhPlOgo.gif angered it and it went on strike. So after a lengthy new contract the news module came back to work.
