I have d/l and installed Phpnuke 8.1 and everything seems to be running very smooth. What I'm trying to figure out is how to set permissions to certain boards in the forum. I've checked the HOWTO guide that gives a description for each section but it skips over the Permissions under the Forum Admin so that isn't too much help. But I would think that when I go to the permissions that I would have the option to set Groups (that I have setup) to a board. But when I go to it I have a Forum Permissions Control that gives me the option to set: Public, Registered, Private and Moderator - All except public having a hidden feature. It seems like its an all or nothing thing. I mean what is even the point of creating a custom user group if I haven't seen one place to even put it? I'm hoping someone can point me towards the right direction if there is a fix or a mod for it. Any help is appreciated...Thank you.

**I also can't even add people to the private group thats already there? What is private for, or better yet how do you use it?

Ok.. maybe I posted too soon. I think I figured out the Private setting. That looks like it is what I was looking for. I'm still getting used to a different board. Shocked
