I did a site search. While there are topics about this, there is no help for my problem.

The link being emailed to new users is something like:

www.mysite.com/html/modules..........

when it should be:

www.mysite.com/modules.........

So, where do I change this info? I looked in admin preferences and the forum preferences and saw nothing other than plain old www.mysite.com in all of the fields.

Well for future reference for others, the variable that stores the site URL is in the SQL database.

For some reason my preferences will not save from my admin panel on the site so I had to change the variable manually.

In your SQL database go to nuke_config and look under the sitename field.
