so you have to pay $10 to get the latest version of PHPNuke, then, if you want to use the XDMP service, another $10/month for a subscription. what a freakin' joke...get with it FB...you couldn't scam people out of their money by charging for PHPNuke, now you're trying to do it with this "service"....no thanks, i'll stick to *free* RSS feeds.
XDMP automated news service has a very low montly fee. XDMP service costs US$ 10 per month. With this low fee you can have unlimited news and any categories you need for your site. No limit at all.
Who is behing XDMP?
The creator are Francisco Burzi and José Luis Compadre. XDMP Service team is located in San Cristóbal, Venezuela and our main server is located in United States with multiple high speed Internet connection.

I actually think it is a great idea, if they put some more into it.
Right now I think the price is too high. I would, at the very least, give 3 months of free service to anyone that pays the 10 for 6.8. Make it Free for a trial period so people can try the service. And/or lower the price.
I might pay 10 if the feeds were original. Right now they are headers and links to the website that wrote the article.
More categories are needed and need to be more specific. The internet is too broad of a category.

Actually, the price is not that high. Depending on the refresh rate for the newsfeed, this could eat up a bunch of bandwidth costing some bucks unless of course they're just reselling this from someone else like Moreover, Newisfree, Google, etc. Without having a reputation for service and quality, I think most will probably pass or use someone more established. I have a script right now which pulls news off Google News and probably could modify it to show the info as articles like they have, but I'm a believer in original content. IMO someone who relies on something like this for his main content really shouldn't be running a site. All this will do is make a bunch of cookie cutter no-value added websites. Putting this as part of the core instead of an optional add-on is kinda tacky.

That's the problem. It's not original. There's hundreds of thousands of sites displaying similar news feeds. They apparently don't have reprint rights because only the first para is shown leading off to the originator's site.
