After upgrading from 6.0 to 6.7 (6.0 to 6.5,6.5 to 6.6,6.6 to 6.7) i cannot logon using the Admin ID. I have used phpmyadmin to change the pwd for the account as suggested in the announcment forum. i also tried to rename the admin ID. i then tried to logon as a regular user and it will not let me do that either. i am wondering if there is something screwy with this security code addition.
any suggestions? |

Search the forums for 'admin loop' and see if any of those solutions work for you. if not, then post back. |

ok, i searched for "admin loop" and it returned almost 1600 results. i looked through the first couple pages and from the ones i read they seem to be caused by adding new modules, which i have not done. i simply san the three upgrade scrits and it stopped working.
could you be a bit more specific, i will go back and search more.
what do ya think |

ok, i restored my site to pre-upgrade and tested everything and everything worked. i then removed my old webroot folder and replaced it with the html folder from the PHP-Nuke 6.7 download.
i then ran the upgrade60-65.php from the html folder. it reported that the upgrade was successful.
when i went to the site again i, again, could not logon using either an admin ID or a user ID. |

I suspected that. That's why I wanted you to run the conntest and analyzer. It would have become self apparent, which appears worked |

They are debugging scripts, so to speak. They are on the front page here at NC and in my sig. Had you run those, you would have seen the error in the config.php immediately. You should d/l them and run them to see the plethora of system information they contain. |
