I just noticed our site is acting up lateley like if someone clicks create an account they will get this message:

You are trying to access a restricted area.
We are Sorry, but this section of our site is for Registered Users Only.
You can register for free by clicking here, then you can
access this section without restrictions. Thanks.

when clicking the link its gonna say restricted area again.

then when loggin in as a registered member its gonna take me to "you are trying to access a restricted area" too.

i can only log-in without a problem if I login as an Admin 1st. then going login as a registered/regular member.

i checked all the blocks and modules. i made sure that the option that says who can view/access this file, are registered members not administrators.

ps:i was lookin at the forum all day but didnt found this kind of error/bugs. well hope someone can help my problem thanks

Are you using a modifed Login block from somewhere? If so, try activating the default one and see if you still have the problem. Does it happen if you try it from Your Account?

Hey I'm having that same problem on my site. I can login fine, but my users are the ones that can't. Everything was working great then, bam! nobody can login. Now, If I login as that user I have no problem at all. Shocked

I fixed the problem .......... it was something I that done. LOL!! I found out if you set Your_Account to registered users only, this will block all logins and new user activation/registration. Rolling Eyes
