Might be a stupid question but what is the difference between the "out" and the "sent" box in the private messages module? When I send a message it shows in the outbox... when does it end up in the sentbox, when it has been read?
Thanks

'Outbox' is something waiting to be read. It's a nice feature because it allows you to change the content of a message before someone has had a chance to read it. It saves you from looking like a fool sometimes, you know?
After a message has been read, it disappears from the 'outbox' but you can still see when you 'sent' it.

Yes, exactly, and more!
Let's say some silly problem has been bugging you for two days. So, you get pissed off and send the author a ripping flamer telling him his code is buggy. 10 minutes later you find out you did something so stupid you wouldn't want your mother to know about it, and it fixes the problem. The 'outbox' gives you a chance to change or delete the message. Once it hits the 'sentbox' though, you're screwed.
The 'outbox' is your friend. I can't say the same for the 'sentbox'. May times it just confirms your worst fears...
