Maybe it was caused by the severe lag the site has been having lately much like it happened when the forums were slow and posts would appear dulplicated as the first attempt to post would seemingly fail and one would hit back and retry, i just hope it's not another attack.

Strange .... my site was just down briefly while other sites on my server worked fine. Then it came back up after a few minutes.

Can't imagine what FB has been through the past week or so. Like you said maybe its some weird anomoly.

Only about 450 people online there when I was there according to Who's Online block. Thats pretty average for over there.

I have noticed that when phpnuke.org is down, nukeresources takes too much time to load but if i go into the database and disable phpnuke's rss block the sites regains its speed, odd to say the least.

chatserv,
Don't spose this could be a side effect of using interval in the sec patch?? We certainly were unable to test on any site with the enormous traffic that phpnuke.org gets?????

Anything is possible but keep in mind that the integer value check will only be performed when voting for a story and to be honest phpnuke.org's erratic uptimes have been taking place even before the attacks, what i can't imagine is why FB hasn't mentioned anything about this, i am sure he must have noticed the lag and could have requested the server log to be checked, guess this would be something Zhen could talk with FB.
