How do i know if admin secure is running/working

Just created new GOD in Edit Admins, logged into /phpnuke/admin.php using GOD, then replaced address in browser with /phpnuke/myrenamedfile.php and i still get

Access Denied
You are not authorized to access this page.

plus the boxes to put the emergency security codes in.

I'm going to un-install Admin Secure again. Start from scratch.

What happens if i delete all the entries in nuke_authors and nuke_users then try to access the /phpnuke/admin.php ???

Does it give me the option to create completely new fresh GOD account ?

Refer to the link I provided earlier. You need to create a GOD account in the tables with the generic password of "password" -- but the table has to have the MD5 hash version of the word. That's in the post, too.

You do not need to delete entries in nuke_users or in nuke_authors.

Uninstalling AS will work. When you reinstall, make sure you are using the GOD account by logging in using admin.php.

So at the moment, in nuke_authors i have:-

Aid = BOSTON
Name = BOSTON
Pwd = xxxxxxxx (not Pasword, but my own password)
Count = 1
all other fields have zero in them EXCEPT radminsuper which has 1 in it.

This is the only entry so it must be this one i'm editing.

I edit it and is it the Aid or Name field that has to say GOD ?

Am i correct in thinking I can leave password set to my own or do I have to change it to Password (the md5 hashed version).

Fella, I finally got it sorted.

I went logged onto /phpnuke/admin.php as per normal.
Via Edit Admins I deleted the one and only name listed (my loggin).
I was then redirected to a screen saying there were no admins set up, would i like to set one up, so I did, as GOD.

Then logged on as GOD, then myrenamedfile.php, got authorisation denied, entered security codes, then clicked on the approve GOD admin button.

Relogged onto phpnuke/admin.php as GOD then myrenamedfile.php and BINGO i now get the Admin Secure control panel.

It was a long slog, but got there in the end, I can't thank you enough for your patience and help.

This is soooo cool !!!

I got it set now to email me the attack notices, and my email account redirects (or forwards) email to my mobile phone.

Now lets see if that a55 fuck1ng, c0ck slurp1ng, son of a petty ugly woman called SLAYER can mash my site !!
