Hi.

We have a site ( http://cmgreece.btriad.gr ) created just for fun, but it has been growth and currently (since the release of the new game version is close) and the result is that the server I'm hosted is about to crash! It's giving me page generation times REALLY BIG, and I'm looking forward to move somewere else ASAP. But I'm afraid to choose another server 'cause I could go to another with the same problems and since this site has no income would be really hard for us to pay for something that would give us the same problems.
We don't want a free server with pop-ups etc.. We can pay an amount of money (about $70-$90/per year) but we need to be sure that will work out.

I'm not sure if I'm offtopic, but couldn't find better forum to post this one...
Thanks in advance for your help...

Basilhs

Eleos,

I HIGHLY recommend using the company
we use. They are agreat bunch of people,
24 hour support, no gimmicks, No Bull,
Inexpensive, New VDS Servers, 99.99% uptime,
and can handle my heavy loads.
I haven't been down in a very long time.

Check them out here

We have been with them since 1998. Let
them know I sent you.

Couple things to look for with a New Host

Version of PHP
Verison of MySQL
what OS they run.
Uptime
Transfer Allowed. (avg 25gig a month)
Space available
Cost

One other thing I look for in a webhost is support. I like a webhost that has their own community Forum...

check out Imhosted, it's who my site is with, they're fast (user's are happy about 200+kbps downloads), and have fairly current versions of php, etc, but it's not *the* latest to my knowledge

i do believe they're in the process of upgrading tho

on the cheapest plan, it's $10/month ($120/yr i guess), 350mb space, 20gb bandwidth

if you goto their Advanced plans, i was on the $14/month plan (you haveta request annual payments if u prefer annual over monthly), and i upgraded to the $50/month plan, it's pretty good stability, excellent options/features, and speed

check them out tho, i already have 2 friends signing up with them, because of the features and speed
