To speed up Nuke, you have to know where the bottlenecks are.
I came upon this script which if of INCREDIBLE help (IMO), and it works. It is a script that you attach to your code, and then you can easily insert checkpoints in your code. It would then, at any point, show the elapsed time from one checkpoint to the other.
I have mod'ed too much code without knowing if it was going to have any impact. Those days are over!!
