Ok I have tried to list all the changes that need to be appplied to Current Nuke 6.0 with phpBB port 2.0.6 matching theme/template packs.
as found at http://nukemods.com.
Any other templates for phpBB, this method WILL NOT WORK!
They must be PORTED phpbb templates with a Matching Nuke theme!!
Code:
#####################################################################
## These are the changes that need to be applied to the ##
## THEME PACKS(Themes with matching Nuke theme and Forum template) ##
## in order to assure they will work with ##
## PHP-Nuke version 6.5 BETA7 and UP ONLY!! ##
## written by mikem of http://www.nukemods.com ##
#####################################################################
## How to upgrade a Nuke6.0 theme with matching ##
## phpBB ported Forum 2.0.6 template. ##
## ##
## YourTheme will be the example name of the theme/template ##
## used for reference only in this tutorial. ##
#####################################################################
Perform these steps on your Computer, not on your FTP
Then upload your Theme pack when your done.
You first need to create a folder named
forums
in the themes/YourTheme directory
In modules/Forums/templates/YourTheme
copy all the contents
Paste all the files you just copied into that forums folder.
You can delete the admin folder in the forums folder once this is done
you can then delete
modules/Forums/templates/YourTheme entire folder and contents
Since Nuke 6.5 does not need the Forum template anymore.
You must leave the Style selection in the Forum Admin configuration at
your regular template in your
modules/Forums/tempaltes/YourTemplate
This SHOULD be subsilver(leave subsilver in your modules/Forums/templates
folder, and do not change that setting in Forum Admin, EVER!!!)
The Forum will use the Default template that is shown in the
Forum Admin configuration to display the Forum Admin pages.
Your Forum Admin will not change with your theme selection anymore.
If that doesn't make sense, trust me or email me at spam@fauxpas.org
You should now have in your Themes folder the following
themes/YourTheme/theme.php and other files
themes/YourTheme/images
themes/YourTheme/forums
themes/YourTheme/style
overall_header.tpl in the themes/YourTheme/forums folder
You may need to add a </td> </table> closing tags.
The footer maybe broken in some templates. Just check it.
You'll know if the footer is broken. When you change to your theme
and go to the Forums, the Nuke footer jumps all the way up to
right under the Forums.
The bodyline, forumline and background color of the Forum may need
some attention in certain templates.
look in themes/YourTheme/forums/forums.css for references
I don't know if this will help anyone, but I used this method and I was able to take a Nuke 6.0/phpbb2.0.6 matching theme/template pack and port it for Nuke 6.5 with no problems at all!

Mikem, this is extremely what I was looking for, extremely useful, I do however have another slight problem, that I have posted over at your site, it is concerning your usercp_register fix. It does not seem to be working correctly for me. For some reason, everytime I leave my PHPBB profile, it defaults back to my default theme for reasons unknown. I am using your SpacePilot3k theme off your site. I go to Your account, pick SpacePilot3k, and everything is dandy. Then if I go to my PHPBB profile, click OK, it goes back to the default theme. Even after the fix. This is really weird.

Solved this problem a while back. This should fix that issue
tell me how to fix that problem. I don't get why it is doing this.
BTW, Mikem, if I send you the theme file for phpbb and the theme for phpnuke, do you think you could just intergrate it and maybe see why its not working?
I appreciate this tutorial and your help.

are you sure nothing else needs to be done to the theme.php? I am having trouble. It is loading without the left and right blocks showing. If you (or someone) could help me out, it would be MUCH appreiciated. I have a high traffic site and would like to get this up as soon as possible.
