sorry didnt know where to post this at, but I am running PHP Nuke Platinum and have PHPBB 2 (all the stuff that comes with it), and I made another person an admin, a super user on php nuke, and his name is green on the forum (green is the moderators color), and the admin color is orange...
How do I make his color orange, and he cant like post in the forums where I made it that only admins can post at...

I have the same problem. However, the change from "User" to "Administrator" doesn't stick.
I'm a super admin and I have moderator status in all the forums. In addition, I'm listed in all usergroups with each group having a different forum permission.
I'm thinking the user permission change won't stick because of all the different usergroups and permissions. Am I wrong?
Should I remove all forum admins from these usergroups and trump their forum permissions by giving them access through the Admin/user/permissions page?

If all else fails, use phpMyAdmin to edit your users table, set the user_level = 2
