I have struggled with getting images in nukec for the past several days but finally found a simple answer (for my system at least) -

In your .htaccess file include the following line:

php_value register_globals 1

Hope this helps some one.

Some sites do turn register_globals off for security reasons. However, not all scripts (especially older ones) are designed to work with this off.

When I created the .htaccess file and inserted that line -- and then saved in the root directory of my phpnuke program, I got the following error:

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Help! Everything works great on my site. The classifieds look beautiful until you try to submit one and then whether or not you have an image, it gives the old image error (too large in pixels or not gif, jpg, etc.).
