Image attachment in forums

Just about all the forums I see lets people upload an image. Can this be done with the phbb mod?

Sure, but here at nuke cops you can upload your image in the uploads modules, and just link to it via the html img tag.

I appreciate that alternative but I really would rather have it happen right here on this message posting screen for user convienyance.

Why oh WHY cant this be included within Nuke? My brief search here for "attachment mod" resulted in more than 100 messages asking how to implement it and everyone points to "portedmods.com" which has a downloadable that specifically states, even in the details for the module, that it will NOT work with portaled *nuke installations.

If CPGNuke support wasn't such a bunch of wankers I would switch to CPG just for this. I much prefer the NukeCops crowd and would rather not have to go through another transition.
