When I implemented NextGen GT, my HTML source started getting extra nwe lines before the <DOCTYPE> element. I have narrowed it down to where it has to do with ob_start() inthe header.php.

Code:
if ($next_gen_ob == 1) {
   if (file_exists($nextgen_path)) {
      ob_start();
   } else {
      $next_gen_ob = 0;
   }
}

Any ideas why ob_start would do this? could locate any previous topic about this
