PHPNuke and IPB 2.2.2

Hello:

At the outset... I'm new to your Forum and expectedly, I have the usual, stupid "new" question to ask.

Background:

I have a junk Game website at free Bravenet.com and a fairly decent Game Forum at InvisionFree.com (IPB 1.3.x), also free.

Situation:

I've acquired an ISP and will be moving everything from "free" to my ISP. In that, I am interested in buying one of your Forum Template offerings: http://www.templatemonster.com/phpnuke-themes/6275.html

Question:

As I will be downloading and uploading my previous Forum into a MySQL engine run by IPB 2.2.2... can I use your phpnuke themes with IPB 2.2.2?

See? I told you it would be a dumb question, so any extensive response beyond "Yes" or "No" would be GREATLY appreciated.

Slight confusion here. This site is a support site for phpnuke and not the developer(s). The developers site is http://phpnuke.org, however you are highly unlikely to recieve any support in relation to questions so here is the best place for that.

Let me explain. PHPNuke is a content management system (CMS) that allows users to run a website with little or no experience. Invision Power Board (IPB) is also a CMS that allows users to do the same. Now whilst both systems are written in the same programming language (PHP) they are totally different.

Therefore you cannot use themes that are intended for IPB on a PHPNuke website or vice versa. You would need to find a theme that is made directly for your desired CMS.

Now you mentioned that you have an ISP and I have no intention of turning this thread into an advert, however, depending on how long you have signed up for you may want to give us a consideration (http://phpnuke-hosting.com) as we specialise in PHPNuke and other CMS like IPB. Its just a suggestion as you are clearly very new to this and would probably benefit from an experienced support with your hosting.
